PS5115 Fundamentals of Counseling: Systems, Families, Couples

This course covers an overview of the development of the field of family therapy and an introduction to the theory and practice of the major "schools." Additional issues to be covered include medical family therapy, critiques of the major models, and culturally sensitive assessment and treatment with diverse families.
