NM8830-8837 Patient Care Rotations 11-18
Naturopathic medicine students are required to take 18 general patient care shifts or rotations. Each patient care shift/rotation involves provision of care under the supervision of licensed faculty. The medical skills mastered in this setting include all skills and therapeutics utilized in the provision of primary naturopathic medicine and are performed in the context of naturopathic principles. Each student is evaluated for increasing competence and specific skills as s/he progresses through the clinical education.
