PS6101 Eating Disorder Treatment

This course includes the entire spectrum of disordered eating diagnosis. Emphasis is on the psychological, social and behavioral patterns of disordered eating. Both nutrition intervention strategies as well as counseling issues, techniques and interventions that interrupt these patterns and lead toward individual and family health and healing are explored. This course includes a lab component for student practice of treatment strategies.
