TR5109 Writing About Food and Nutrition

This course is only offered in California. This course introduces students to skills and practice that support effective written nutrition communication. Students learn how to differentiate writing styles and practice in a variety of mediums such as blog posts, reviews, news stories, research reviews, interviews and food memoirs. Students compose pitches and proposals. Draft revisions and peer review are used as critique to improve writing samples.
