Graduate Programs
The Department of Nutrition and Exercise Science offers three master’s level graduate programs at the Kenmore campus and one at the San Diego campus that are consistent with the overall focus and mission of the department. The first option at the Kenmore campus is the Master of Science in Nutrition (MSN), which culminates in a research thesis. The second option is the Master of Science in Nutrition and Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology Dual Degree Program (MSN/MACP), which combines training in nutrition and counseling psychology. The third option is the Master of Science in Nutrition with the Didactic Program in Dietetics (MSN/DPD). This option provides the academic part of the requirements to become a registered dietitian nutritionist. At Bastyr University California, the Master of Science in Nutrition for Wellness (MSNW) prepares students to create and deliver effective nutrition programs to support wellness.

After initial selection of a degree program, a student must receive approval from the chair of the department in order to change programs.
