Grievance Processes

To initiate a grievance, students are encouraged to complete this form: Student Grievance Report

Once completed, the student will be contacted and directed to one of the following procedures in order to resolve their issue:

• Grade Appeal Process – For an appeal of a final grade for a course or clinic shift. The full process is available in the University Catalog -Academic Policy and Procedure Manual
• Equity Resolution Process – For a grievance covered by the Bastyr University Civil Rights Policies. The Policies and the Process are located in this handbook under their own headings.
• Issue Resolution Process – A grievance which does not fit into either of the above categories, or that involves a University employee, will be heard through this process.
