FM8310 Advanced Practice of Functional Medicine in Environmental Health

This course reviews the foundational biochemistry and genetics associated with biotransformation pathways, connects organ system dysfunctions to potential toxic exposures, and details the useful laboratory for evaluating toxicant exposure levels and subsequent physiologic stresses in patients. Once these important clinical connections are made, specific treatment approaches are discussed. This course uses a case-based, integrated approach to effectively deliver the tools necessary to diagnose and treat the toxic component of a patient’s total health picture.
