NM8104 Practice Management I
The three-part Practice Management series prepares naturopathic students to run a safe, legal, ethical, and financially sustainable clinical practice. It integrates medical ethics and state regulatory requirements with practical business skills: practice formation, marketing, financial management, billing and coding, and working with legal and accounting professionals. Each part builds on content introduced in Naturopathic Theory & Practice and moves from law and ethics to operational and financial competence. Part I covers state laws and regulations governing naturopathic medicine; licensing; malpractice; patient and physician rights; enforcement mechanisms; and advanced clinical ethics; and introduces business set-up and organizational choices for new physicians.
