AM8105 Exercise Physiology

This course on Exercise Physiology is focused on the effect of exercise on pathology, the mechanisms by which exercise can reduce or reverse disease progression, and the effects of injury, disease and disability. Attention is paid to overuse injuries as well as the effects of lack of exercise in contributing to pain, fatigue and exhaustion. The physiology of specific exercises and activities in the treatment of pain and injury is also discussed.
