AM8408 Trauma and Pain
In this class students develop an understanding of psychological and physical trauma, particularly Averse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and how they relate to pain conditions. The student is able to identify trauma as a factor in chronic pain especially, diagnose and treat within scope of practice, and refer to the appropriate allied health care professional(s).
