Department of Counseling and Health Psychology
The Department of Counseling and Health Psychology offers a Bachelor of Science in Health Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. The department also offers a Master of Science in Nutrition and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology dual-degree program in conjunction with the Department of Nutrition and Exercise Science, as well as providing coursework and training in counseling for other clinical programs.
The Department of Counseling and Health Psychology supports the mission of Bastyr University by providing leadership to enhance the psychological health and well-being of the human community through education, research, and community mental health care. Within the study of counseling and health psychology, students apply wellness and preventive approaches to whole person health care practices.
