Academic Certificate Students
Minimum Requirements
To be fully admitted to an academic certificate program at Bastyr University, students must meet the following criteria:
- Meet the required education or degree criteria.
- Meet the program cumulative GPA and prerequisite GPA requirements.
- Complete the program prerequisite requirements.
Application for Admission
Academic certificate students must submit the following materials to be considered for admission for an academic certificate program:
- Nonrefundable application fee of $75
- Official transcripts from all previously attended higher education institutions

Accepting Your Offer of Admission
All applicants will receive an email communicating their admission decision. For students who are admitted, an enrollment commitment deposit of $200 is required to formally commit to attending the University and to secure a space in the program.
- Deposits must be submitted online through the applicant portal and must be received within 30 days of notice of admission to guarantee a seat in the program.
- Deposits are refundable for up to six business days.
- The deposit payment is credited to the student’s account and applied toward the initial tuition payment.
