BC5132 Disease Processes 2

This course is designed for nutrition master’s students and satisfies Master of Science in Nutrition with Didactic Program in Dietetics (MSN-DPD) requirement for a Pathology course. This course is a systematic approach to pathology in neural, renal, reproductive, endocrine, and respiratory systems, with an emphasis on the most common and clinically relevant disease processes including autoimmune disorders, cancers, and diseases of liver, pancreas, gallbladder, skin, bone, and joint. Nutrition Assessment and Therapy 2 and Advanced Nutrition: Bioactive Compounds, Nutrigenomics, and Microbiome are taken concurrently.
