BC5171 Integrated Muscular and Skeletal Systems

This course requires students to apply core concepts to the basic structure and function of the musculoskeletal system. It also includes the anatomy, biochemistry, histology, and physiology of the muscular and skeletal systems. Students integrate structure-function relationships of the musculoskeletal system in order to predict responses and adaptations to challenges. This module includes detailed anatomy of the limbs. Lab includes application of functional concepts. Scientific concepts for the musculoskeletal system are applied to the development of clinical skills in the Clinical Skills 1 module and BC5122L Gross Human Anatomy Lab that are offered concurrently.
