BC5172 Integrated Cardiovascular and Immune Systems

This course includes the anatomy, embryology, biochemistry, histology, and physiology of the cardiovascular system and blood. Students integrate the structure-function relationships of the cardiovascular system and blood in order to predict responses and adaptations to challenges. The module also includes an overview of the lymphatic system and immunity. Scientific concepts for the cardiovascular system are applied in the BC5123L and Clinical Skills 2 modules that are taken concurrently.
