TR6109 Food and Nutrition in Health Systems

This course is only offered on the California campus. This course explores the key components of an ideal, well-functioning health system. From this foundation, students use all of their resources gained in the program to evaluate the role that food and nutrition services play in a variety of health systems. Students are provided with case scenarios in which they are challenged to create ideas for improvements in outcomes, while weighing benefits against risks and challenges, ultimately developing a final justification statement paper.
