BO4135 Organic Greenhouse and Nursery Management

This course provides an overview of important techniques to ensure plant health from seed to market. Through hands-on experience, students learn about plant propagation techniques, plant selection, potting media for various plant types, and ways to balance the elements of soil, air, light, moisture, and heat in the greenhouse. Ideas for establishing and maintaining a small-scale landscape or market nursery are explored. Course content will be delivered in a hybrid format with online asynchronous content and an in-person component.
