NM7351 Internal Medicine II

Internal Medicine II is the second of a two part clinical course covering core adult medicine across organ systems, chronic disease management, and integrative therapeutics. The sequence emphasizes diagnostic reasoning, appropriate use of imaging and laboratory testing, evidence based naturopathic interventions, therapeutic exercise, diet and nutrient therapy, and safe pharmaceutical management including herb/drug and supplement/drug interactions. Internal Medicine II covers complex systems: renal, rheumatologic conditions, inflammatory and autoimmune disease, oncology co-management, and system specific therapeutic strategies.
